Si terrà a Trieste il 12 e il 13 maggio, negli spazi del Magazzino 42, la nuova edizione del modeFRONTIER International Users’ Meeting, l’appuntamento dedicato agli utilizzatori del software per l’ottimizzazione ingegneristica sviluppato da ESTECO SpA. L’azienda con sede in Area Science Park accoglie ogni due anni nel capoluogo giuliano circa 200 partecipanti da tutto il mondo per una due-giorni dedicata ai casi di applicazione più innovativi della tecnologia ESTECO: la scorsa edizione ha visto oltre 40 relatori provenienti da importanti centri di ricerca e aziende internazionali, come Ferrari, Petrobras, Jaguar Land Rover, Alenia Aermacchi, Honda R&D e Volvo Corporation.
Il meeting costituisce un’importante occasione per il confronto e per lo scambio di idee tra i più disparati settori industriali ad alta intensità tecnologica e il mondo accademico e della ricerca. Gli utenti del software modeFRONTIER ne testimonieranno l’elevata versatilità e, provenendo da diversi background, daranno interessanti spunti per future applicazioni ed innovazioni. Ulteriore scopo dell’incontro è di presentare e diffondere la conoscenza riguardo una tecnologia sviluppata proprio a Trieste e oggi in posizione di leadership mondiale.

Il tema scelto per questa edizione – la “Modularity Mastering Complexity” – affronta alcuni dei nodi che caratterizzano oggi il lavoro ingegneristico. La complessità dei processi di progettazione rappresenta, infatti, una sfida cruciale in mercati sempre più esigenti e competitivi. Una risposta a questa sfida risiede nella modularità di soluzioni software innovative, come quelle sviluppate da ESTECO, che consentono ai singoli specialisti di focalizzarsi nel loro ambito all’interno di un processo collaborativo che permette l’integrazione di fasi, tecnologie e competenze inerenti la simulazione e l’ottimizzazione.

La conferenza è aperta a casi accademici o industriali che mostrino i vantaggi derivanti dall’utilizzo di modeFRONTIER per accelerare l’innovazione di prodotto. C’è tempo fino al 17 febbraio 2014 per sottomettere gli abstract, mentre la deadline per le presentazioni complete è il 30 aprile 2014.

From the Central Train Station (800m), take bus n. 8 or n. 30. The stop is in front of the Stazione Marittima Conference Hall. Magazzino 42 is right behind it.
From the motorway
From the A4 Venice / Trieste Highway (27km), take the ‘Sistiana / Trieste Centro’ exit and follow the directions to the center of Trieste. Once on the seafront, you will see the Stazione Marittima Conference Hall near Piazza Unità D’Italia.
From the airport
From the Ronchi del Legionari airport (35km) take the bus n. 51 to Trieste; you will stop at the Central Train Station. Take bus n. 8 or n. 30, the stop is in front of the Stazione Marittima Conference Hall.
