The name Hall of Mirrors is an excellent choice to investigate the self-image that is transmitted and contaminates the image of the other, within the same container. Practical goal of the initiative is the creation of the audiovisual project created and written by the students participating in the first edition of the Hall of Mirrors in 2012.
Section 2 - The project is aimed at young people aged between 18 and 35 years, belonging to national minorities and cultural, ethnic minority groups in the European territory.

Section 3 – The project hall of mirrors is structered this way:
- PHASE ONE - The first phase took place in June 2012, between Trieste and Momjan in Croatia. After a training course on language and audiovisual production, the boys and girls from various communities, some of the historical settlement, and other new immigrants, are concentrated in a writing workshop and screenplay. - PHASE TWO - In 2013, the project grows, is now funded by the Young Creatives Notice by the Presidency of the Council of Ministers through the Department of Youth and the Region of Friuli Venezia Giulia and extends its collaboration, activating a network of international partners as well as regional realities. The basin of the users then becomes broader and the whole structure of the project becomes more articulated.
Between 10 and 16 June 2013:
MASTERCLASS – Some Masters of Cinema, part of which originating in the Friuli Venezia Giulia Region, will hold a lecture on their specific professional field (cinematography, directing, composing soundtracks, etc. ..) and use as a “case study” the script written by the participants in the project in 2012, will analyze and give advice on the production of the short film.
WORKSHOPS BY DEPARTMENTS –The boys will be divided between the various departments of film production (directing, photography, production, scenography and costumes). Each department will have to guide a young professional in the region, and will consist of 4-5 students interested in the field.
This must be an examination of the script (called “counting the script”) to show the kids how to make the job then on the movie set.
Between June and September 2013:
REGIONAL TOUR – A presentation of the workshop along with a video and photographic documentation of the course played up to that point will be carried around the region, between Udine and Pordenone, and presented live stream online (thanks to the collaboration with PNBOX): the project will therefore international exposure through the use of virtual platform PNBOX.
